Modern Age#

Fig. 37 MacBook™ Pro 13 during an editorial meeting and review of the ARGE AASS. In 2011 I started an interlude with MacOS X on a MacBook Pro, which I enjoyed very much (both the BSD-based operating system and the notebook). It got upgraded after a few years using a kit provided by hardwrk. It is currently used as a backup and as an “update platform” for my navigation device.#

Fig. 42 The successor to my X220 was as a Thinkpad ™ X1 Yoga Gen. 2. Unfortunately a rather bad buy, the OLED display is sensationally good, but the battery s***s … and the yoga function has not really proven itself. Today it serves as a backup Windows™ notebook.#
Since the X1 Yoga did not really prove itself, a Thinkpad™ X270 followed, a compact 12 inch notebook that is currently serving as a backup notebook.
